The Langley Arts Council will be open by appointment only after September 3rd, 2020. Our programming and rentals will also resume after September 3rd, 2020. If you wish to tour the facility you must have an appointment with a staff member prior to arriving and follow the COVID-19 protocols in place.
We will continue to monitor the public health risk associated with COVID-19 and provide updates about our operations as the situation progresses. The LAC Staff and Board will remain available via email. Please contact the Staff via email to book an appointment to visit the Langley Arts Council.
Classes and Workshops
Like most organizations, we are doing our best to secure the health and well-being of our employees, their families, our members, and program patrons. Our employees have been strongly encouraged to work from home when possible. We follow strict COVID cleaning protocols when in the office and are required to wear masks when inside the building. For in-class instruction, we provide plastic partition dividers where appropriate and follow strict social distancing protocols. All students and instructors must also wear masks when in the building and maximum class sizes have been reduced.
We believe with these measures in place, we are well equipped to continue running creative programming to help support you in this time. We feel that right now, more than ever we need to provide people with a diverse assortment of creative outlets.
Moments like this remind us that we’re all connected. We’re called upon to be our best selves, with patience, understanding,
