Funding of $2,500 awarded to the Langley Arts Council through the Township of Langley's Community Grant

In February 2022, the Langley Arts Council requested $2,500 from the Township of Langley's Community Grant for a Youth Theatre League presented in partnership with Langley Little Theatre.

The Langley Arts Council and Langley Little Theatre are pleased to share that this funding was approved in April 2023 for a combined $5,000 to implement and facilitate this programming.

This $5,000 in funding will provide fees for room rental, instructor wages, scripts for the programming, and additional expenses related to the programming and the implementation of a Youth Theatre League. This grant funding will also provide funds for the traveling of their performances throughout the Langley boroughs to present this programming to the public free of charge.

"We are excited to bring this new programming to the Community and work with Langley Little Theatre once again to support our local youth" states Arts Coordinator; Mimi Savyong.

The Langley Arts Council's home inside of the Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Center is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10:00 - 4:00 and offers arts programming, exhibition opportunities, free community events, and more!
