Artist Studio Rental Opportunity


The Langley Arts Council is excited to offer a vibrant, creative environment for artists looking for dedicated studio space. Whether you’re a painter, photographer, or work in other mediums, this studio space is designed to foster inspiration, focus, and artistic growth.

About the Studio

Our studio space includes natural light, and ample space for various artistic practices. 

Additional amenities include:

  • 24/7 access to your studio
  • Large windows for optimal natural light
  • Kitchenette and sink within studio space.
  • A secure entry 
  • Located within an Arts and Culture Centre with ongoing programming.
  • Located within a facility that has an art gallery with rotating exhibitions. 
  • Ability to host Open Studio events during Arts Council operating hours.
  • Studio rental for practice rate vs commercial rate for artists who would like to facilitate their own programming within this space.
This space is ideal for one artist, or two who would share the space. If two artists are sharing the space, they will both be required to sign and agree to the rental agreement.


Rental Dates: September 1, 2025 - February 28, 2026.

Rental Cost: $700 per month for Studio Rental for Professional Practice Rate,  or $1,100 for Commercial Rate.

Deadline: January 28th, 2025


Rental Definitions

Studio Rental for Practice: This rate is for artists who are seeking a space to create work and have open studio tours for the public to visit their space.


Commercial Rate: A rate for artists who would like to host their own classes and workshops, and sell artworks within the space. As they will be using it as a commercial space, it will be rented at a reduced rental rate for this space as it is a longer-term contract.


Please note, that there may be an opportunity to extend this rental past February 2026 and will be determined in January 2026 by the Board of Directors.
