Funding of $2,750 Awarded to the Langley Arts Council Through the Township of Langley’s Community Grant
In February 2025, the Langley Arts Council was awarded $2,750 through the Township of Langley’s Community Grant program in support of our annual BC-wide award-winning exhibition, artSpacific.
This funding will provide essential support to host the visual arts exhibition and reception at the Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Centre, home of the Langley Arts Council. The grant will assist with the installation and facilitation of the exhibition and reception, showcasing Township artists alongside original works from members across British Columbia and beyond.
“This event brings the best artworks in both 2D and 3D categories to our community. Each year, our organization is thrilled to present new and emerging talent alongside established local and regional artists who continue to submit increasingly strong work. As always, we will welcome guest adjudicators and award cash prizes. We’re thrilled to bring this event once again to our community,” states Executive Director Claire Sarfeld.
The Langley Arts Council, located inside the Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Centre, is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We offer arts programming, exhibition opportunities, free community events, and more. To receive monthly updates about our programming and events, subscribe to the LAC newsletter.
