Leo Labelle's Solo Exhibition is on display from August 8th - September 16th, 2024 in our Main Hall Gallery in the Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Center (26770 29 Ave, Aldergrove, BC V4W 3B8). This exhibition is on display in our Main Hall Gallery in tandem with our Art & Fashion Exhibition.

Artist Statement

Leo LaBelle’s upcoming exhibition is a vivid journey through the surreal, whimsical, and deeply spiritual realms of his creative mind. As a Canadian surrealist artist, LaBelle's work draws from a rich tapestry of influences, blending vibrant colors, dynamic shapes, and intricate patterns to evoke a sense of wonder and curiosity. This exhibition features a collection of new sculptures, each embodying a distinct narrative and character. From the playful "Cosmic Penguin" to the profound "Eternal Guardian", these works encapsulate LaBelle's ability to transform familiar forms into mystical beings.
