Exhibition Dates and Location
Ingrid Vadina's Solo Exhibition - In the Company of Wildlife is on display February 1st - May 8th 2025 in the 2nd Floor Civic Gallery at the Township of Langley Civic Facility (20338 65 Ave, Langley, BC V2Y 3J1). The Civic Facility hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.
Artist Statement
I create detailed acrylic paintings that express my passion for wildlife and nature. My deep connection to nature and animals brings me peace and calm. I aim to inspire others to appreciate and protect wildlife and the true wonders of the natural world. I hope that viewing my paintings provides others with a mental escape from everyday life.
About the Artist
Ingrid Vadina is a self-taught artist inspired by the beauty and uniqueness of the natural world. She enjoys painting in a realistic style with a focus on detail. Ingrid’s goal with her art is to create an emotional connection, raise awareness and inspire action to help protect animals and the world around us.
Ingrid was born and raised in Slovakia and now lives in Langley, BC, with her husband and children. After moving to Canada in her early twenties, she decided to pursue one of her other passions (fitness) and she became a certified personal trainer. After 15 years in the fitness industry, Ingrid needed the challenge of something new. It was during the beginning of the Covid pandemic that she began putting all her focus into creating art.
Ingrid is now a member of the Artists For Conservation Organization (the world’s leading artist group supporting the environment); “ I am excited that I am able to support wildlife and nature through my art.
